Job summary

Carter’s in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Seasonal Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet customers, explain product styles and benefits, and help families select baby essentials and school-ready gear.

This role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and a welcoming store environment. You’ll work in a busy retail setting, handle point-of-sale transactions, stock shelves, and communicate promotions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product styles, features, and benefits
• Resolve customer issues confidently in a busy retail environment
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately
• Restock floor and shipments as needed
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program
• Maintain a safe, clean store and minimize losses

What you’ll do:

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits


• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment


• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience


• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions


• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed


• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customers


• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

Qualities we’d love in a candidate:

• A positive and solutions-oriented mindset


• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills


• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills


• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once

You can:

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling


• Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder


• Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.60 - $17.60 per hour based on experience and location.
