Job summary

J.D. Irving, Limited is seeking a Customer Service oriented associate to greet customers, provide product information, complete sales, and coordinate deliveries. You will help maintain store standards, learn new products, and participate in department training.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work day/evening/weekends. Safety conscious and able to lift up to 75 lbs, with the D635 system experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service: greet customers, offer information, complete sales, and arrange deliveries.
• Maintain store standards: inventory, replenishment and merchandising.
• Learn about new products and attend department training when provided.
• Follow safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Prepare invoices, quotes, credit invoices, and delivery invoices.
• Assist with merchandising displays and store presentation.
• Use the computer system to keep inventory up-to-date and manage orders/damages.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team.
• Lifti ng up to 75 lbs. and to be flexible with day/evening/weekend shifts.
• Learn and operate the D635 system used to process orders.
• Have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent as asset.
• Available for daytime shifts (8am–9pm).
