Kent Building Supplies Inc. in Clarenville, NL is hiring a Sales Associate to greet customers, provide product information, process sales, and coordinate deliveries. You will contribute to a friendly, knowledgeable team and help customers find solutions for their homes.

The role supports store standards, merchandising, and safety, with rotating days/evenings/weekends. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 75 lbs are valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service, greeting customers, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
• Maintain store standards: inventory, replenishment, and merchandising.
• Learn about new products and attend department training when provided.
• Work safely by following all safety standards.
• Prepare invoices, quotes, credit invoices, and delivery invoices.
• Assist with product displays and merchandising.
• Update inventory in the system for new products, write-offs, or damages.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service – this includes greeting customers, providing information, completing sales, and arranging deliveries
• Maintain store standards – Inventory, Replenishment and Merchandising
• Learn about new products and attending department specific training when provided
• Work safely by following all safety standards.
• Prepare invoices, quotes, credit invoices and delivery invoices.
• Help store with the display of merchandising.
• Follow computerized operating system to keep inventory up-to-date in system if receiving new products or writing off the product through theft or damage.
