Overview

Seasonal Ambassador - Scarborough Town Centre at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics North America. Seasonal Ambassadors are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to shop excellence in sales and operations, aiming to consistently surpass daily sales goals while maintaining a fun and inclusive team environment.

We encourage you to put yourself in the customer’s shoes to provide personalized product recommendations and share knowledge, creating a unique and memorable experience for every shopper. It's about making a positive impact while selling quality products.

Location : Scarborough Town Centre

Compensation : $19.50 CAD per hour

Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Experience: Driving sales by utilizing store data to exceed goals, taking ownership of results, and contributing to the store's overall performance.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a world-class experience, connect with customers, identify needs, demonstrate product benefits, and leave customers with a positive impression of the brand.
  • Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging). Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement to attract traffic and inspire others to support the brand.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously expand product knowledge and stay up-to-date on ingredients and benefits to make informed recommendations.
  • Team Involvement: Develop sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance, support team growth, and increase sales. Seek feedback and opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Promote open communication, listen to team perspectives, foster belonging, encourage collaboration, and value each member's contributions.
  • Operational Excellence: Be punctual and reliable; participate in teamwork; manage breaks and stay informed about company updates.
  • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience.
  • Stock and Inventory: Use Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust displays based on sales to improve the customer experience.
  • Policies and Procedures: Follow opening / closing procedures, ensure product integrity, maintain a respectful workplace, and observe health and safety standards.

  • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred :

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service

  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience in skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
