Purpose of the role:

PHD is experiencing growth and seeks a talented individual to join our Performance team as a Paid Search Manager. Reporting to a Supervisor or Director, the Manager will ensure all Paid Search deliverables are high quality, timely, and meet client objectives. The role involves collaboration with Account Management and Strategy teams.

The Manager will oversee search advertising programs, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and campaigns meet or exceed client goals. Attention to detail and ownership of tasks are essential to add value for our clients.

The Role & Expectations

  • Communicate effectively with internal and client teams during campaign development and execution.
  • Identify and escalate technical issues with internal teams.
  • Present processes and tactics clearly to peers and junior team members.

Accountability:

  • Lead quality checks of campaign setup, billing, and in-platform activities.
  • Ensure timely campaign launches and delivery.
  • Organize team efforts to deliver reports and insights on time, tracking campaign progress and performance.
  • Manage billing data input and analysis, proactively addressing issues.

People Management:

  • Manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Lead and develop team skills, ensuring process adherence.
  • Collaborate with vendors for new advertising opportunities.
  • Train junior team members.

Media/Business Acumen:

  • Experience with Paid Search strategy and campaign management.
  • Understanding of campaign optimization to meet business goals.
  • Ability to analyze data and plan next steps across marketing channels.
  • Knowledge of broader media planning and buying to ensure integration.

Your Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze data to generate reports and insights.
  • Develop long-term campaign strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Assist in training new hires on paid search fundamentals.
  • Lead campaign planning and execution.
  • Utilize management tools to optimize campaigns.
  • Create audience targets following best practices.
  • Launch campaigns and perform quality checks.
  • Manage billing information within Prisma system.
  • Monitor industry changes and support ad-hoc data requests.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in media, focusing on Paid Search and Performance.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree required.
  • Proficient in basic Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ad-serving or social campaign tools like Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, Kenshoo, etc., is a plus.
