Summary: The Seasonal Seafood Processor processes seafood products by performing the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checks/verifies materials and amounts to be weighed, measured or counted and places items into the appropriate containers.
  • Sets up, operates, and monitors machinery used in the production process, or assists machine operators.
  • Records production data such as the ingredients used, temperature, weights and times according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Fills hoppers of automated system with correct ingredients using vacuum assist for lifting bags.
  • Disassembles and reassembles the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning.
  • Cleans and Sanitizes production equipment, tools, and work area per Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP) while wearing required Persona Protective Equipment( PPE)

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

The role is non-exempt at $18.65 per hour

Minimum Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have worked at our Motley, MN plant as a seafood processor within the last 18months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months experience in food manufacturing
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders to elevated platforms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee moves objects.

  • occasionally up to 40 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and the ability to distinguish shades of color to identify abnormalities and/or defects in food products.
