Job summary

PriceSmart Foods is hiring a Seafood Clerk at Lougheed location in Burnaby, BC. This part-time role requires 16-24 hours per week, with duties including operating a cash register, sharing product knowledge, and maintaining fresh, well-presented seafood displays.

Ideal candidates have a passion for great food, strong customer service, a positive attitude, and the ability to work with a team. Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail is preferred.
• Cashier duties and POS handling experience.
• Bilingual abilities in Mandarin or Cantonese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Share product knowledge with customers and assist shoppers.
• Ensure seafood department is well stocked, fresh, and presented.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide a positive experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
