A drayage solutions coordinator plays a pivotal role in the supply chain, This includes managing deliveries with trucking companies, handling data entry, and preparing necessary documentation while collaborating with the Operational Customer Care team to meet requirements. Ensuring compliance with sea transport regulations and national protocols, they also build and maintain relationships with key carriers and vendors

This is Hybrid Role

How you create impact
  • Monitor all incoming delivery orders from OCC Import, Kuehne+Nagel Customs, other relevant departments and direct customers.
  • Efficiently assign and dispatch shipments to approved truckers in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily tracking and tracing activities at all port or rail terminals to ensure smooth movement of FCL containers.
  • Verify container pickup numbers, terminal locations, and empty return details as needed.
  • Liaise with steamship lines, CN/CP Rail, port terminals, and trucking terminals to resolve any operational issues.
  • Maintain positive relationships with trucking carriers on a partnership basis to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Monitors and updates daily statuses entry to ensure that department KPI are meet
  • Assure all cost and revenue charges are entered on the operational system and communicated to internal/ external customers within the day as per internal agreements.
  • Communicate promptly with OCC imports colleagues and customers regarding container cycles, costs, and any other relevant information
  • Ensure that all GXP training is completed and that pharmaceutical shipments are handled based on GXP requirements and compliance
  • Coordinating reefer containers with the approved GXP vendors for pharma grade reefer container availability/release
  • Temperature setting accuracy for reefer containers / Temperature Control Sheet

What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in similar role from freight forwarding industry is needed
  • Strong understanding of international transportation and Sea Logistics Operations
  • Proficent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant applications and logistics software
  • Comfortable working in fast paced environment and as per the Volumes increase in operations
  • Experience in establishing efficient transportation plans that consider time, budget, and business objectives
