Job summary

Accenture is seeking an SDx / Octave Solution Architect to design and guide the SDx solution across business, data, and infrastructure teams. The role spans design through deployment and production support for worldwide clients in Canada and beyond.

You will lead architecture workshops, create diagrams, govern data quality, and mentor project teams. Strong hands-on SDx experience with Hexagon SDx / Octave SDx and a background in PLM/EIM are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical information, asset management, PLM, or similar solutions.
• 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
• Experience delivering large transformation programs.
• Strong SDx architecture, data models, objects, relationships, metadata, workflows, and security.
• Experience with SDx platforms like Hexagon SDx/Octave SDx and SPF is preferred.

Role Summary The SDx / Octave Solution Architect is responsible for designing and guiding the overall SDx solution. The role works with business teams, technical teams, integration teams, data migration teams, and infrastructure teams to make sure the SDx solution meets business needs and technical standards. The Solution Architect supports the project from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Establish data quality and information governance standards.
• Provide architecture support during build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Review solution designs and technical documents.
• Help resolve technical issues and architecture decisions.
• Identify risks and dependencies.
• Work closely with project managers and technical leads.
• Help stakeholders make architecture decisions.
• Present solution recommendations to leadership.
• Guide and mentor project teams.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience with technical information, asset management, PLM, EIM, or similar solutions.
• 5+ years of Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect experience.
• Experience delivering large transformation programs.
• Experience with SDx, Hexagon, Digital Twin, PLM, EIM, or similar platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Hexagon SDx / Octave SDx.
• Strong knowledge of SDx architecture, configuration, data model, objects, relationships, metadata, workflows, and security.
• Experience designing and implementing SDx solutions for technical information and document management.
• Experience configuring SDx while maximizing out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities and minimizing customization.
• Experience with SDx document lifecycles, technical work processes and change control.
• Experience with SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) is strongly preferred.
• undefined Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
