Job summary

Emburse is seeking a skilled SDET to join our engineering team in Toronto. You will design and implement automated testing frameworks, bridge development and QA, and drive CI to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of our applications.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality releases. As an SDET, you will lead test plans, create robust automation, and contribute to testability across features, while maintaining a strong quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Testing/Quality Engineering experience in software domain.

Responsibilities

• Work as the quality champion and SDET within a product scrum team on a large-scale distributed enterprise software solution.
• Establish test plans/approach for features and functionality.
• Ensure code changes are thoroughly tested and released efficiently and with high quality.
• Conduct system/E2E testing, and coordinate and execute release and deployment activities for Emburse releases.
• Design and implement automation for integration and workflow tests.
• Assess load/performance testing requirements and create tests to exercise and evaluate system performance under load.
• Pair with developers to ensure applications and features are designed for testability.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure our products and services are delivered with high quality.
• Participate in peer code reviews and identifying opportunities to improve the reliability and maintainability of our test automation architecture.
