Responsibilities:

1. Build, maintain, and implement test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of new features for UI, API, and backend systems.
2. Passionate about quality, continuously improving processes, generating new standards, and promoting their adoption within teams.
3. Partner with development teams to ensure test coverage and develop test plans that support high-quality feature delivery.
4. Develop and implement standard methodologies for in-house automation, including automated testing, end-to-end testing, device testing, and performance testing.
5. Maintain and enhance existing Python and Selenium-based automation frameworks.
6. Create common APIs and libraries for test automation.
7. Collaborate with the infrastructure team to build and maintain services such as CI pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
2. 3+ years experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
3. 3+ years experience in advanced API and UI automation for web and mobile applications.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (Python preferred).
5. Experience with development and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker.
6. Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI.
7. Experience with Selenium or Appium.
8. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Test or development experience on non-PC devices (phones, game consoles, set-top boxes, etc.).
2. Experience with React Native.
3. Experience developing or writing test code for game consoles.
4. Exposure to microservices architecture and testing strategies.

Role compensation is based on market and geographic factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. The estimated hourly pay range is $53 CAD.
