Job summary

Amazon in Vancouver, Canada is seeking a Software Development Engineer for our Enterprise Billing Experience. You will tackle hard scalability and distributed computing challenges within AWS, owning services from design to deployment while focusing on customer value and reliability.

As a self-driven engineer, you will work with cross-team partners to deliver high-impact features, ensure security and privacy, and maintain low latency at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and operate services customers depend on.
• Ensure architecture sanity, reliability, and performance; deliver results on time.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to deliver cross-team features.
• Protect customer information and maintain low latencies for enterprise scale commerce.
