Job summary

Vosyn seeks a motivated Scrum Master Intern for a Masters-level internship. This role supports agile processes, helps teams communicate effectively, and facilitates ceremonies to drive project success. Remote work with hybrid options in Toronto is available.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Master's in PM, Business, CS, or related fields, with strong Scrum knowledge and excellent collaboration skills. This internship offers hands-on Agile experience in a fast-growing AI startup.

Qualifications

• Master's level student or recent graduate in Project Management, Business Admin, CS, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices, especially Scrum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist Scrum Masters in planning and facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and stakeholders to align goals and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and help remove impediments to team performance.
• Maintain and update sprint backlogs and project documentation.

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scrum Master Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for a Master's level student with a strong interest in Agile methodologies and project management. As a Scrum Master Intern, you will support our Scrum Masters in facilitating Agile processes, ensuring effective communication, and driving the success of our development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Scrum Masters in planning and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor and report on team progress, helping to identify and remove impediments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices within the team.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including sprint backlogs and task boards.
• Support the team in achieving a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects.

About You:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master's program in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is an asset.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
