Job description

As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and optimizing our Agile development processes. You will ensure that teams can work effectively and produce high-quality results. You will facilitate Scrum events, collaborate with Product Owners to ensure user stories are well-defined, and encourage collaboration and open communication within the team and with external stakeholders. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement and help the team identify and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure user stories are well-defined and ready for sprints.
  • Encourage collaboration and open communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and help the team identify and implement process improvements.
  • Track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to team productivity and product quality.
  • Train and coach team members on Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination for larger-scale projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master (at least 5 years).
  • Scrum Master certification required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with project tracking software management (JIRA).
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Summary

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a hybrid position with 2 days per week in the office in Toronto, Montreal, or Saint-Hyacinthe.
