OVERVIEW

Are you a search engine guru? Do you know how to find what you're looking for with just a few keywords? Are you the type of person who already knows what someone is saying before they finish their sentence? If so, we have a unique opportunity for you to put your skills to the test!

Welocalize is seeking Simplified Chinese speakers in Canada to support our client's project as a Search Quality Rater.

In this position, you will use your understanding of people's intentions to improve the online search engine experience. Your main goal is to develop and augment AI data by providing subjective and objective ratings based on project rules and conventions.

You will complete tasks in Simplified Chinese.

This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own hours to meet weekly goals. Support from the project management team is available during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Pacific).

Project Details

Job Title: Search Quality Rater

Location: Remote, Canada-based

Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week, up to 20 hours; flexible scheduling

Start date: ASAP

Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor

This work depends on project needs; weekly hours may vary.

Requirements

• Fully proficient in Simplified Chinese
• Strong understanding of English
• Must be located in Canada
• Deep understanding of popular culture in China
• Dedicated solely to the "Search Quality rating program" and not involved in other search or ads rating programs
• No current or previous experience with "Ads quality rating"
• Only one person per household may work as a "Search Quality Rater"
• Web-savvy with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent online research skills
• Reliable computer and internet connection
• Reliable antivirus software (necessary for safe web surfing)
• Ability to follow instructions in English and adhere to project rules and conventions
• Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect client confidentiality
• Must pass training modules and a quality test set by the client before starting
