Job description

The Timmins West mine is located approximately 18 kilometers west of Timmins, Ontario, within the prolific gold camp of the Porcupine-Destor fault system in the Abitibi greenstone belt. The mine includes the Timmins deposit, the Thunder Creek deposit, and the 144 Gap deposit, all interconnected by underground drifts.

We are seeking Scoop Operators to join our team at the Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON, and the Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON, on a full-time basis.

The work schedule is 5-5-4, with 10-hour shifts rotating between days and nights.

This role involves mucking underground ore and waste material from various levels and loading haulage trucks.

Please note that this position requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not camp-based.

About You

While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we encourage applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply.

• Previous underground experience is required

• Completion of common core specialty modules U0068 Haulage Trackless and U0020 Operate Remote Scoop is required

• Commitment to safety

• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core is required

• Eligibility to work in Canada
