Fusion connects alpha particle emitting isotopes to targeting molecules to deliver payloads to tumors. Its clinical portfolio includes FPI-2265 (Phase 2, prostate cancer), FPI-1434 (Phase 1, IGF-1 receptor), and FPI-2068 (Phase 1, EGFR-cMET), among others. The Role : The Scientist III / Senior Scientist, Group Leader, will lead drug discovery projects, designing and executing experiments, setting objectives, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones. The role involves leading a team of junior scientists, providing feedback, conducting laboratory studies, developing new techniques, and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of junior scientists, supervise their work, and provide performance feedback.
• Conduct laboratory studies, including biologic screening assays, mechanism of action, efficacy, and biodistribution studies in rodent models.
• Develop and optimize assays, analyze data, and document findings with high quality and attention to detail.
• Foster scientific excellence, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote scientific rigor.
• Present results internally and externally, and author scientific manuscripts.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Molecular/Cell Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 3-5 years industry experience in drug discovery or radiopharmaceuticals.
• Experience in Oncology and preclinical drug development.
• Hands-on experience in drug screening, candidate selection, and in vivo cancer models.
• Proven leadership experience managing junior scientists.
• Strong skills in in vitro assay development, optimization, and data interpretation.
• Experience with radioactive and biohazardous materials is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
