Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program Lead

Join to apply for the Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program Lead role at WSP in Canada.

The Opportunity: WSP is growing and has an opening for a dedicated SR&ED Program Lead in our western Canada Earth & Environment Business. As the SR&ED Lead, you will leverage your understanding of engineering and environmental sciences along with the Canadian SR&ED Tax Incentive Program to support our projects and opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting innovation within the SR&ED framework.
  • Applying SR&ED concepts to our Earth & Environment projects.
  • Building a network of contacts and acting as the main liaison with SR&ED consultants.
  • Leading a committee of SR&ED champions across business units.
  • Reporting progress to management and ensuring effective communication with senior leadership.
  • Training consultants, guiding project managers through documentation, and fostering collaborations with academic institutions.
  • Collaborating with regional SR&ED leads across Canada.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian SR&ED Tax Incentive Program.
  • Proven experience with SR&ED assessments in engineering and environmental consulting.
  • Inquisitive mindset with the ability to identify themes and connections.
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and proficiency in MS Office.

Compensation: Salary range in British Columbia: $102,100 - $140,400, with final salary based on experience and qualifications.
