Are you passionate about helping students succeed? Do you excel in making complex concepts simple and engaging? Oxford Learning Centre is looking for an enthusiastic Math and Science Tutor who can tutor students through Grade 11 and 12 Biology and Chemistry to join our team.

What You'll Do :

  1. Tutor high school students in Biology and Chemistry, ensuring clarity and mastery of concepts.
  2. Occasionally work with younger students (Grades 4-8) in Math and Writing as part of a well-rounded educational approach.
  3. Adapt your teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
  4. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.

What We're Looking For :

  1. Strong knowledge of Grade 11 and 12 Biology and Chemistry (a degree in a related field is a bonus).
  2. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, especially with high school students.
  3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts in an engaging, student-friendly way.
  4. Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
