Greenwood College School in Ontario is seeking a part-time Social Worker (60%) to support students in Grades 7–12 and their families from now through June 2027.

The role includes counselling, collaborating with school staff, and coordinating with external services as needed. Flexible schedule options include three full days per week or five days 9:30am–2:00pm, with compensation in the CAD 45k–65k range, prorated to the 60% contract.

Qualificações

• MSW degree and active RSW registration required.
• Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) in good standing.
• Professional liability insurance in good standing.
• Experience with counselling youth in educational settings is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, student and/or parent counselling as required.
• Provide a safe, confidential space for student and family counselling.
• Evaluate and refer external services as needed.
• Collaborate with admin and staff to support student well-being and programs.
• Participate in Student Support Team meetings and IEP meetings as needed.
• Help facilitate restorative strategies and support mental health crises.
• Maintain case records complying with reporting requirements.
• Respond to emergencies and be available for critical incidents.
