Job Opportunity with Roots Community Food Centre
School Program Facilitator – 10 month
The School Program Facilitator position will assist with the development and facilitation of food workshops and programs for youth in schools and the community during the school year.
The Basics:
Job Term: 10 month, Sept 2025 – June 2026. Renews for September 2026.
Start: September 2025. Weekend and evening work will be required.
Wage: $24/hr; 40 hrs/week, full benefits after 3 months.
Location: Thunder Bay, ON

This position will be a part of our schools team, interacting with high school students in immersive, hands-on, and engaging food-based activities. It is fast-paced and there is extensive travel between schools each day and throughout the week. There is also community work on evenings and weekends at some periods that this position will be expected to be a part of.
