Qualifications

Two-year Library and Information Technician Diploma required; see note on nearing completion.
Must be a practicing Roman Catholic verified through pastoral reference.
Experience with library automation software, Word and Windows applications, and database management.

Responsibilities

Display, promote and compile learning materials to support curriculum.
Make presentations to groups of students as required.
Supervise students in the Library Resource Centre and other locations in emergencies.
Establish and manage an efficient administration system for the Library Resource Centre.
Assist staff and students in locating information using print and online sources.
Encourage reading and understanding of books and resources to promote learning.
Classify and catalogue learning resources and maintain catalogues and inventories.
