Maria Montessori Academy is an independent school in Victoria BC offering dynamic handson learning experiences to students from Preschool through Grade 12. With small class sizes a strong sense of community and a collaborative teaching culture MMA provides an exceptional working environment where educators feel supported and inspired.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Counsellor to join our team for a maternity leave coverage beginning September 2025 . This is a 0.7 FTE position working alongside an established counsellor and a dedicated team of teachers. The role supports students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a warm inclusive and studentcentred environment.

Masters degree in Counselling

Valid BC Teaching Certificate

Knowledge of inclusive practices and diverse student needs

Experience working with a broad age range of students

Strong communication organization and collaboration skills

Ability to contribute positively to a teamfocused school culture

Commitment to ongoing professional growth and evidencebased practice
