Job Overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable School Cook to work as part of our Trust Catering Team proving a high standard of catering across our Primary schools . The role will be based at the central service kitchen, located on site at Siddal Primary School but there may be a requirement for multi-school site working based on the needs of the Trust and requirements of the role.

What you offer
• The ability to prepare, cook and present food to a high standard
• A minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Ability to read, understand and comply with written instruction, record keeping and information returns: Procedures, COSHH information, Health & Safety information, Fire Safety information and Food Safety information, Stock Taking, Trading Information. (Must demonstrate the numeracy and literacy required to fulfil the role)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role
• Relevant qualification/s within catering, management and/or hospitality
• BTEC or HNC, relevant NVQ (*Minimum Level 3), access course or equivalent Scottish or Irish qualifications
• Being a team player is essential
• The ability to promote positive behaviour
