urs: Monday to Friday, 3:15pm – 5:45pm (12.5 hours per week)

Pay: £13.21 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and experienced School Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in a school environment.

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead a team of cleaners while also carrying out your own daily cleaning duties. You will play a key role in ensuring the school is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the school cleaning team.

Ensure all staff correctly use the time and attendance system.

Carry out regular cleaning audits to maintain high standards.

Complete stock takes and monitor cleaning supplies, reporting replenishment requirements.

Allocate tasks and provide guidance to the cleaning team.

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Carry out general cleaning duties within your designated area, including:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, halls, toilets, and communal areas.

Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors.

Dusting and wiping down surfaces.

Emptying bins and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Requirements:

Previous commercial or school cleaning experience is essential.

Previous supervisory or team leader experience is desirable.

Good organisational and communication skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. Applicants must be eligible to pass an Enhanced DBS check, and any relevant criminal convictions may affect suitability for employment.
