Voyago is hiring School Bus Drivers in Ottawa

Locations include Stittsville, Dunrobin, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean, and the west end of Ottawa.

Position Details:

• Split shifts (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon); proximity to school coverage areas is essential.
• Start date: September 2025/2026 school year, with training underway.

Your role:

• Safely transport students, the "most precious cargo," to and from school.
• Ensure student safety during boarding and exiting buses.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Assist with fueling and maintaining bus cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Safety-focused mindset.
• Valid Ontario G class driver’s license; B class preferred.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Clean driving record and vulnerable sector screening.
• Knowledge of Ottawa West and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently.
• Availability for split shifts, approximately 4-5 hours daily, Monday to Friday, between 6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 5pm.
• Solid communication skills; pre-hire driving and radio communication assessments required.

Location Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay: $21.00 for driving, $17.20 for other tasks.
• Compensation for full route coverage, including mornings and afternoons.
