East Ferris is hiring Bus Drivers for the Nipissing Student Transportation Service, servicing Astorville, Bonfield, Callander, Corbeil, North Bay, Powassan, and Trout Creek.

Your role:

• Safely transport students, referred to as "the most precious cargo," to and from school
• Ensure students' safety during boarding and exiting buses
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
• Assist with fueling and maintaining bus cleanliness

Requirements

Your profile:

• Focus on safety
• Hold a valid full G class driver's license; B class preferred
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a clean driving record
• Obtain a clean criminal record search
• Know the Nipissing District and surrounding areas
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to work split shifts aligned with school transportation schedules
• Strong communication skills
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with passengers, parents, school staff, co-workers, and the public
• Meet MTO medical standards for maintaining or obtaining a B license
