Central Okanagan Public Schools is seeking on-call School Bus Drivers in Kelowna. The role focuses on transporting students to and from schools within the district, with part-time, short morning and afternoon shifts. Extra hours are available for field studies and staff transport.
Applicants must be able to pass a criminal record check and maintain a high safety standard while interacting with students. Benefits and pension access may follow after progression.

This professional bus driving opportunity primarily consists of transporting students to and from school.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for part-time and for those who prefer to work short shifts in the morning and in the afternoon. Extra hours are also available to transport students and staff on occasional field studies.
School Bus Drivers will be working on call throughout the district and will also have the ability to apply on posted vacancies.
Central Okanagan Public Schools (School District No. 23), Kelowna BC, provides education services to over 23,000 students in the communities of Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, Lake Country and the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
The hourly wage for this position is $32.37 per hour, School Bus Drivers working on call, will get 5% of bi-weekly earnings in lieu of vacation and 5% of straight time earnings in each pay period in lieu of statutory holidays.
After successfully completing a probationary period and attaining seniority, School Bus Drivers working on call will receive 10% in lieu of benefits when working 20 hours or more per week.
School Bus Driver working in a permanent position will be eligible to enroll in a benefits package and pension plan and will qualify for paid leaves, including short term and long term disability.
