Location: Queen Margaret’s School – Duncan, BC
Position Type: On-Call (Potential for Permanent Part-Time)

Queen Margaret’s School is seeking responsible and safety-minded individuals to join our Transportation team as School Bus Drivers. This position is on-call with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent part-time role based on school needs and staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly bus.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 2 BC Driver’s License (Air Brake Endorsement not required).
  • Clear driver’s abstract and criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • First Aid certification is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience driving a bus or working with children is an asset.

Schedule & Availability:

  • On-call basis; hours vary depending on school transportation needs.
  • May evolve into a permanent part-time position.
