Job summary

Elk Island Catholic Separate School Division is accepting applications for a temporary full-time Family Wellness Worker position shared between Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School (Sherwood Park) and St. André Bessette Catholic High School (Fort Saskatchewan).

The Family Wellness Worker will support students, families and staff within a Collaborative Response Model, assist in crisis response, and contribute to staff wellness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of emotional/behavioural difficulties and mental health of children/adolescents required.
• Knowledge of community agencies, referral procedures, and collaboration with diverse student needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students, families, and staff within a Collaborative Response Model.
• Assist with crisis response and staff wellness as needed.
• Contribute to assessment, goal setting, and planning of supports and interventions.
