Job description

We are currently accepting applications for the following full-time permanent position:

Scheduling/Unit Clerk

Hourly Rate: $24.72 – $$30.90 (Depending on Experience)

Reporting to the Administrator and Director of Care, the Scheduling & Unit Clerk plays a central role in ensuring that both our staff and residents are well-supported. From managing staff schedules to maintaining resident health records and coordinating care-related logistics, this role is essential to the daily function of our home.

You’ll work closely with nursing leadership, front-line care staff, families, and external service providers – all while keeping your finger on the pulse of both staffing needs and clinical administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage staff schedules across departments, following applicable collective agreements
  • Process time-off requests and coordinate shift replacements
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new staff
  • Maintain accurate payroll data and verify attendance records
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to clinical leadership team
  • Keep resident records and health documentation secure and up to date
