The Village of Riverside Glen, located in Guelph, Ontario, has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Scheduling Coordinator to join their team.

Shift Details: 30 hours bi-weekly, 10:00-18:00, and every other weekend availability required.

As Our New Scheduling Coordinator, You Will

  • Work closely with village leaders to ensure all shifts are filled daily
  • Send out shift requests as per the village collective agreement
  • Collaborate with village leaders to plan vacation coverage for team members
  • Prioritize village needs based on the vacancy report
  • Be the point of contact for shift fulfillment with the charge nurse and leaders
  • Connect with employment agencies when shifts are not filled internally
  • Provide exceptional customer experience as the first point of contact for team member questions about schedules, call-ins, and open shifts
  • Support administrative assistance with office coverage
  • Create exceptional customer experiences for incoming queries from residents, families, and team members
  • Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and deliver high-quality service to residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive support

To Be Successful As The Scheduling Coordinator, You Will

  • Have an office administration certificate or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Be efficient in managing conflicting priorities
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members

It Would Be An Asset If You Have

  • Previous experience working in a long-term care or retirement home
