The Scheduler, Turnaround (TAR) position reports to the Project Manager, Turnaround. This position is responsible for leading the development, optimization, maintenance and integration of all MRM and Capital Projects scheduling functions to support TAR events. Demonstrating strong analytical skills, the successful candidate will be adept at facilitating collaborative schedule review sessions, integrating feedback from stakeholders, and continuously optimizing schedules to meet evolving needs. Exhibiting a proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including senior leadership. In this role communication style is required to be constructive and solution-focused, allowing you to effectively support positive and efficient cross-functional collaboration.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for leading the development, coordination, and maintenance of fully integrated, resource loaded & logic linked schedules for multiple, consecutive TAR events
  • Responsible for working collaboratively to integrate scheduling for MRM, ensuring activities are planned, tracked, and aligned with TAR Capital Project timelines
  • Support cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, TAR Leadership and Controls) in aligning resource allocation and workflow sequencing, optimizing for work area density and critical path timelines
  • Tracks and reports progress against critical milestones; identifies schedule risks and recommends mitigations to TAR Leadership (i.e., change in resource requirements, progress, and float analysis). Proactively identify schedule issues, risks, and opportunities
  • Facilitates regular schedule reviews and updates, adjusting for emerging project and maintenance requirements and representing proper logic, prioritization, resource utilization, logistics and constraints
  • Ensures all regulatory, safety, and company policy requirements are integrated into scheduling activities. Prepare and produce scheduling reports for key maintenance metrics across RFO.
    Includes schedule compliance reporting, work order backlog reporting, maintenance cost reporting

What you will bring:

  • High School Diploma
  • 8+ years relevant experience in an industrial environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in the use of Primavera P6 for large-scale TAR events, capital, and maintenance projects
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI is preferred
