Job description
Overview:

Pembina Pipeline is seeking a pipeline Scheduler to join the Conventional and Oil Sands Pipelines Business Unit based out of our Calgary corporate office or our Sherwood Park office. Reporting to the Supervisor, Scheduling, the successful candidate will be a key member of the business unit’s product scheduling team, coordinating volumetric movements on Pembina’s crude, condensate, and NGL pipeline systems, and merchant tank terminals.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain accurate pipeline and terminal schedules, managing system tankage and line fill inventories;
  • Coordinate volume movements from nomination receipt to batch execution;
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream counterparties on product schedule alignment;
  • Review modified operation requests for acceptance into schedule;
  • Support the planning and alignment of outages with upstream/downstream customers and the engineering, operations, and outage teams;
  • Demonstrate learning agility by actively seeking feedback, adapting to new information quickly, and applying learnings to improve performance and deliver results in a dynamic environment;

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field;
  • 1-5 years’ experience in pipeline logistics or scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of NGL and/or Crude Oil logistics combined with in-depth knowledge of pipeline operations;
  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills;
  • Collaborative team player with effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills with demonstrated ability to be pro-active in identifying potential issues and providing solutions;
  • Organized, detailed, analytical and able to consistently deliver accurate and timely information; and
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or processes and apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Fridays.
