Here’s how a Scheduler contributes to our team:

• Facilitate planning and scheduling across various construction phases;
• Gather, consolidate, and analyze information from multiple sources;
• Conduct schedule analysis for constructability, risks, and opportunities;
• Collaborate with field supervision on look-ahead planning;
• Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule;
• Lead interactive planning sessions;
• Manage schedule scope changes in line with contracts;
• Analyze delays, impacts, and variances, and develop solutions;
• Communicate plans effectively through reports and visuals; and
• Support project execution with leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of planning and scheduling experience, especially with trades and subcontractors; less experience may be considered for the right candidate;
• Ability to work on-site near Edmonton, AB;
• Strong understanding of planning principles, practices, and techniques;
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel;
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts;
• Knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging / WorkFace Planning;
• Experience with delay analysis, risk analysis, and 4D scheduling is a plus;
• An Engineering Technology Diploma or Degree is preferred but not mandatory;
• Ability to prioritize under tight deadlines and adapt to changing needs;
• High emotional intelligence, especially in social awareness and relationship management;
• Excellent listening, oral, and visual communication skills;
• Confidence in presenting to groups; and
• Comfort working with estimators, field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
