Team Overview

Our team, part of the Center of Expertise, specializes in design and fabrication, providing technical drafting services and project management support across various business units. Comprising four technical drafters and six scenography project managers, we prioritize collaboration and collective problem-solving. Working with Concerts and Shows involves reimagining the concert experience through multimedia, collaborating with renowned international artists in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Your Role

As a Drafter, you will develop 2D scale drawings and 3D models of creative concepts for music concerts and TV performances. You will assist in developing design briefs, accurately illustrating the physical and visual intent of presentations, and producing detailed technical drawings to guide fabrication and construction.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope by reviewing creative briefs, researching, and identifying options.
• Contribute to the creative process with new ideas and techniques.
• Ensure designs are artistically consistent and technically feasible.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings for all project phases, including preliminary concepts, client presentations, and technical documents.
• Develop detailed technical design documents such as floorplans, scenic elements, band plots, and specifications for video, lighting, audio, and effects.
• Produce 3D renderings for artistic presentations.
• Maintain consistency between technical drawings and artistic vision, respecting constraints.
• Deliver files and documents within deadlines to prevent delays.
• Refine designs based on creative and budget considerations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong skills in 2D and 3D drawing.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is an asset.
• Excellent aesthetic, compositional, communication, and conceptual skills.
• Proficiency with VectorWorks is an asset.
• Fluency in English.
• Interest or knowledge in AI is desirable.
