Jardeg Construction is recruiting Scaffolder Journeypersons for a temporary 5-day position at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta, from June 2 to June 7.

CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site. You will enjoy a well-structured 5-day rotation with 11-hour workdays, three 15-minute breaks, and a 5% RRSP contribution.

Local scaffolders to the Bonnyville / Cold Lake area only.

As a Scaffolder, you will:

  • Practice safe and secure scaffold access without compromising safety.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and supervision to meet expectations.
  • Design scaffolds according to site requirements, material specifications, and CSA standards.
  • Follow safe work practices in the industrial environment, including Task Hazard Assessments.
  • Be fully competent in assembling, dismantling, and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds.
  • Have knowledge of isometric drawings (asset).
  • Support colleagues and participate in skills transfer.
  • Prioritize daily workload and manage materials efficiently.

Position Qualifications:

  • SAIA Scaffolder Journeyperson Certificate or proof of hours (6400+).
  • H2S Alive certification.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) certification.
  • Common Safety Orientation.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space.

Satisfactory completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test is required.
