Job summary

MDA Space in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC is seeking a Test Engineer to join our satellite systems team. The role focuses on developing state-of-the-art test stations to automate production and ensure antenna performance in orbit meets customer requirements.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, define test plans, and develop software and RF test procedures. A strong background in electromagnetism or microwaves and programming is required, with French language skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics.
• Strong programming skills and a solid foundation in electromagnetism or microwaves.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good command of spoken and written French.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the design team.
• Analyze test requirements.
• Define test methods and techniques.
• Define test equipment and data processing methods.
• Draft test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Develop software applications and automated test and RF measurement procedures.
• Code and validate test sequences.
• Monitor tests and provide operational support per specialty in RF, power, metrology, or mechanical testing.
• Plan and coordinate test activities and the technical team.
