Job summary

Kepler Communications is seeking a Systems Engineer to bolster satellite and payload development programs. You will contribute to mission analysis, system-level engineering, payload integration, verification planning, and technical documentation.

Work closely with senior engineers and program teams to translate objectives into concrete outputs. This role requires developing ownership across analysis, interface coordination, and verification activities, spanning requirements through operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 4+ years of systems engineering, spacecraft development, mission analysis, payload engineering, or related role.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, STK or equivalent tools; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support system-level engineering for spacecraft, payloads, mission operations, and ground segment interfaces.
• Assist requirements development, verification planning, interface control, and evidence tracking.
• Coordinate with subsystems to define interfaces, data flows, and verification approaches.
• Analyze mission and payload performance, budgets, and trade studies; document results.
