THE POSITION

Are you ready to jam with the crowd and make every game-day experience berry special? The Saskatoon Berries are looking for an energetic and outgoing In-Stand Host to bring the juice and keep fans engaged! You’ll be hyping up the crowd, hosting fun contests, and making sure everyone leaves with sweet memories. If you love baseball and have a big personality, this is the berry opportunity for you!

Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the Game Day Manager, the In-Game Host will be primarily responsible for the following but not limited to:

1. Host in-game promotions, contests, and giveaways with a jam-packed level of enthusiasm.
2. Work with the entertainment team to execute berry fun engagement activities.
3. Engage with fans throughout the stands to create an exciting and welcoming atmosphere.
4. Conduct live interviews with special guests, celebrities, team alumni, etc.
5. Assist in pre-game and post-game entertainment as needed.
6. All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

1. Prior experience with public speaking and performing in a hosting capacity.
2. Strong knowledge of the Saskatoon Berries and/or WCBL.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and on camera.
5. Ability to multitask and work quickly and efficiently in a team environment.
6. Ability to improvise and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
7. Flexibility in schedule is important to this role as the chosen candidate will be required to work nights and weekends.
