Job description

We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our Information Systems and Digital team in Toronto. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as SAS Administrator.

Your main responsibilities :

Act as a senior SAS Administrator supporting the SAS 9.4 environment and assisting in day-to-day operations alongside the existing administration team.

Ensure the integration and operational stability of BI tools (Power BI, SAP BO) and data connectors with Snowflake and other platforms.

Collaborate with actuaries and technical teams to optimize existing SAS code and improve overall system performance.

Identify and communicate risks, assess technical options, and recommend scalable and efficient solutions aligned with data architecture standards.

Contribute to the enhancement of data quality processes, aiming for simplicity, speed, and high performance.

Promote and implement best practices for process improvement, change management, and data governance within data warehousing environments.

Qualifications :

3 to 5+ years of experience in SAS administration and development , especially within SAS 9.4 environments.

Strong understanding of SAS data integration flows , production support, and troubleshooting across complex systems.

Proficiency in scripting and development languages including SAS, Python, SQL, UNIX Shell, Bash, VBA , and experience using VSCode .

Technical experience with BI tools (Power BI, SAP BO), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), and middleware servers (IBM WebSphere, Tomcat).

Familiarity with distributed systems , CI / CD , DevOps , and cloud technologies like AWS and S3 buckets is a strong asset.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
