Job summary

High Cliff Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant for a 8-month project starting November 2026, extending to June 2027 with potential extension. Hybrid schedule with on-site days to be confirmed.

Strong TM expertise and 9.6+ version preferred. The role involves configuring TM, optimizing transport processes, and supporting integrations with SAP modules and external carriers.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP TM functional experience.
• Version 9.6 or higher is preferred.
• Solid understanding of SAP TM tables and underlying system functionality.
• Experience with system interfaces to SAP EWM, SD, MM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAP TM functionality to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize transportation processes using SAP TM.
• Maintain SAP TM master data (locations, resources, carriers, rates) and tables.
• Support integration between SAP TM and other modules/systems (EWM, SD, MM).
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configuration designs.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and UAT test scenarios; assist with cutover and hypercare.
• Resolve incidents and train end users on SAP TM processes.

Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to join their project in November 2026 and will run until June 2027, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have strong SAP TM functional experience, ideally with version 9.6 or higher. Solid understanding of SAP TM tables, technical configuration, and underlying system functionality. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAP TM functionality, including freight order management, planning, and execution, to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize transportation processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing SAP TM-based improvements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SAP TM tables, master data (locations, resources, carriers, rates), and technical configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Support system integration and interfaces between SAP TM and other modules/systems (e.g., SAP EWM, SD, MM, external carriers).
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and configuration designs.
• Develop and execute test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover and post-go-live hypercare.
• Resolve production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and train end users on SAP TM processes and functionality.
