Job Title: SAP Successfactors Onboarding Lead
Location: Canada (Remote with occasional onsite travel as required)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking a skilled SAP Onboarding Lead to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is open to candidates across Canada, offering a remote-first work environment with some onsite client engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to drive user adoption and process alignment across HR teams.
About the Role
As the SAP Onboarding Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of SAP’s onboarding module, helping clients improve new hire experiences and ensure smooth integration into their workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding implementations and provide subject matter expertise.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather onboarding requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Customize onboarding workflows, forms, and compliance steps based on client-specific needs and industry best practices.
- Ensure alignment with broader SuccessFactors suite, including Employee Central, Recruiting, and Learning.
- Manage configuration, testing, training, go-live support, and post-implementation enhancements.
- Monitor onboarding performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted advisor for change management and user readiness during onboarding transformations.
- Support data integration and process automation between onboarding and third-party systems (e.g., background checks, payroll, identity management).
- Travel for on-site client meetings as needed (minimal, based on project).
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
- Proven experience leading onboarding projects or workstreams in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and new hire lifecycle.
- Familiarity with related SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning) is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in user training and adoption strategy is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
