SAP Basis specialist is responsible for technical administration, support, supervision, and maintenance of ALDO’s SAP landscapes. The role requires working closely with other System Integrator’s consultants and reporting to ALDO’s SAP Tech Ops Lead to deliver comprehensive support, suggest improvements, and keep the systems up to date.

Responsibilities

1. System Administration: Perform day-to-day SAP system administration tasks, including user administration, system monitoring, performance tuning, and system patching and upgrades.
2. System Landscape Design: Collaborate with infrastructure teams to plan and implement the SAP system landscape, including servers, storage, and network components. Configure system components based on best practices.
3. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain system stability. Investigate errors, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
4. Security and Authorization: Ensure security compliance and manage user access to SAP systems. Implement and maintain user roles, authorizations, and profiles.
5. Migration Planning: Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams for cloud migrations, including servers, storage, and network components.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of SAP experience.
• SAP Basis (minimum ECC) with at least 1 end-to-end implementation.
• Experience with infrastructure refreshes, data center migrations, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Basis: Technical Planning, Installations and Configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN), Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, platform, SSO configuration, SSL certificates installation.
• SAP ECC system landscape administration and SAP Security role design knowledge.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, including configuration, processes, and procedures.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with SAP HEC and ECS environments, including SAP BTP Cockpit administration.
• Familiarity with S/4 HANA migration and upgrades.
• Experience with SAP on cloud platforms (private or public).
• Strong experience in SAP architectural design and upgrades.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4, SAP AWS, GCP cloud services.
• Experience with SAP Cloud connector security, parameter considerations, and initial sizing for cloud connectors.
• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
