A Vancouver area based client is seeking an SAP ECC / S4HANA Testing Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in testing various SAP modules and managing test documentation. This role includes engaging with business process owners and ensuring quality assurance throughout the implementation of SAP S4HANA.

Our Vancouver area based client is implementing SAP S4HANA on RISE and requires SAP ECC / S4HANA Testing specialists with experience in one or several of these solutions : FI, CO, PM, PS, HR, Org Management, Payroll, MM, PS-CD, RE-FX, FM.

Role : SAP ECC / S4HANA Testing Specialists

Start : July 02 2025

End : Dec 31 2025

Location : Burnaby / On site

Responsibilities

• review functional and non-functional requirements;

develop test plans to ensure adequate test coverage,

estimate testing efforts,

develop detailed test cases,

• execute the test cases, document the test results;
• liaise with business process owners,functional analysts, developers, and project management to help speedy resolution of issues;
• retest and regression test as necessary;

provide periodic and on demand updates on status of testing efforts

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience.

5+ years experience in testing business applications with complex business rules and processes. Specific skill requirements are :

Must Have Skills

must have experience testing one or several SAP ECC modules. E.g. FI, CO, AA, PM, PS, MM, HR, Payroll, PS-CD, FM, RE-FX, Travel and Treasury.

Proven experience in working in medium to large software implementation projects.

Proven experience some of these testing tools : , Confluence, Jenkins, Jmeter, Jira, Ranorex, Selenium, TestRail ) for documenting test cases and test runs, raising and tracking issues, developing test automation scripts, managing tasks and project documents.

Proven experience in vetting functional and non-functional requirements; creating test plans, test data and test cases; manual and automated execution of test cases; creating automation scripts; developing plans for user acceptance testing; maintaining clear, concise, and complete documentation.

Proven experience in executing test cases and reporting results.

Proven experience coordinating, leading, and facilitating end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing sessions.

Thorough understanding of software testing lifecycle - unit, functional, integration, regression, load / performance, system, end-to-end and user acceptance testing; and test automation.

Highly Desirable Skills

Experience in testing S / 4 Hana modules corresponding to the ECC modules listed above

Experience in testing other SAP applications like BW, BOBJ, Portal, Process Orchestration

Knowledge of how relational databases are structured

Business analysis experience or knowledge

Knowledge of business process modeling using Swimlane diagrams

Knowledge of business use cases, including narratives

Experience with testing mobile apps and load / performance testing

Professional certifications in software testing

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
