High Cliff Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect lead for a Montreal-based project. The role is fully remote, starting immediately and running through June 2027 with potential extension.

The candidate will lead end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including ABAP, CPI integrations, and security, with a focus on governance and performance. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong BASIS knowledge, and a track record delivering complex SAP landscapes

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, integration, deployment, and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Provide technical oversight across ABAP, SAP CPI, EWM, TM, BASIS, and Security.
• Translate requirements into practical technical designs and standards.
• Enforce architecture principles, code quality, and documentation.
• Govern changes across the SAP landscape including upgrades and migrations.
• Identify risks and dependencies; define mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with functional leads, enterprise architecture, and vendors.
• Oversee incident resolution and continuous service improvement.

Job description

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect lead to join their project immediately and will run until June 2027 with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4 ABAP, CPI, CALM, and BTP, along with a proven track record of end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations. Must also have demonstrated leadership experience, including leading teams, and a solid understanding of security and BASIS. This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, integration, deployment, and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Provide technical oversight across ABAP development, SAP CPI integrations, EWM, TM, SAP Basis, and SAP Security.
• Translate business and functional requirements into practical, maintainable technical solution designs.
• Establish and enforce development standards, architecture principles, code-quality practices, and documentation requirements.
• Govern technical changes across the SAP landscape, including enhancements, interfaces, custom developments, releases, upgrades, and migrations.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and performance issues; define mitigation plans.
• Partner with functional leads, enterprise architecture, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee incident resolution, root-cause analysis, problem management, and continuous service improvement.

Food industry experience is nice-to-have. French speaking candidates will be highly prioritized.
