Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Security Lead – Full Time

Overview:
Our client is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Security Lead to support their ERP transformation efforts. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring security compliance, optimization, and cloud integration alignment following a major upgrade to S/4HANA on RISE. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing security in complex SAP landscapes, especially post-upgrade environments, and can lead both internal and external teams in delivering secure, scalable solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Conduct and lead post-upgrade security assessments and tuning within an S/4HANA (RISE) environment

• Manage end-to-end SAP security design, including cloud integrations (SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.)

• Oversee SoD controls, user access governance, and quarterly audit processes

• Guide vendor and offshore partners on security deliverables

• Support implementation and management of identity and access governance (SAP IAG or GRC)

What you must have:

• 8+ years of SAP security experience; 3+ years specific to S/4HANA

• Direct experience in stabilizing and optimizing security after a system upgrade

• Familiarity with cloud-based security models, SAP BTP, and regulatory compliance (e.g. SOX)

• Strong leadership skills in cross-functional and vendor-led environments

• SAP Security certification is a strong asset

Salary/Rate Range: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00
