Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Operations & SCM Lead

Overview:
A prominent Canadian organization is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Operations & Supply Chain Lead to support enterprise-level post-upgrade optimization initiatives. This full-time position is ideal for someone who has led ERP optimization in asset-intensive industries and can bridge business needs with SAP delivery partners in a fast-moving technical landscape. This opportunity is Calgary-based, offering a flexible hybrid work model. The SCM Lead will be responsible for stabilizing and advancing operations-related modules across a recently upgraded SAP S/4HANA (RISE) environment. They will play a key role in system tuning, digitization strategy, and integration of cloud-based tools like Ariba, SAP Asset Manager, and Fiori apps used in field operations.

What you will be doing:

Strategic Initiatives

  • Drive stabilization and optimization for S/4HANA modules in supply chain, maintenance, resource scheduling, and asset operations

  • Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver scalable improvements and integrations

  • Shape and maintain a strategic roadmap for operational digitization initiatives

Operational Execution

  • Identify and execute automation and process improvements within S/4HANA’s operations and logistics stack

  • Manage issue escalations and lead resolution of Level 3 support incidents

  • Assist in change management and user enablement across operational departments

Technical Oversight

  • Provide subject matter expertise on S/4HANA configurations, particularly in SCM, Ariba, Resource Scheduling (RSH), and SAP Service/Asset Manager (SSAM)

  • Oversee mobile enablement, including deployment of Fiori applications for field operations

  • Lead testing and validation efforts for quarterly system patches and updates

  • Monitor key business processes using real-time system alerts and dashboards

What you must have:

  • 8+ years of SAP experience, including 3+ years working directly with S/4HANA in an operational or logistics capacity

  • Hands-on involvement in post-upgrade stabilization projects

  • Functional knowledge of Ariba (P2P, sourcing, supplier management) and experience working with SAP field operations tools like SSAM and RSH

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Technology

Nice to have:

  • SAP certification in relevant supply chain or operations modules

  • Familiarity with API integration via SAP BTP

  • Experience in asset-intensive sectors such as energy, manufacturing, or natural resources

  • Awareness of Industry 4.0 and IoT concepts as they relate to asset operations

Salary/Rate Range: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00
