Job description

Our client is implementing an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud solution and is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead – Project Systems to join their Finance team. This is a large-scale transformation program, and the selected candidate will play a client-facing role, helping design and deliver SAP PS solutions with integration across Finance and related modules.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Project Systems configuration and solution design, aligned with industry and client best practices

• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and drive business requirement gathering

• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to support project delivery

• Document business blueprints and support user testing and training

• Advise on SAP standard functionality and provide creative solutions to bridge business needs

• Provide leadership across the SAP PS workstream and mentor junior resources

• Engage stakeholders at various levels, including C-suite, in a consulting capacity

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of SAP consulting experience, including 5+ years in SAP PS and/or PPM

• Minimum of 2–3 full lifecycle implementations, preferably in a lead or sub-lead role

• Strong S/4HANA experience, especially in PS module

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to influence and guide decision-making based on SAP and industry best practices

• University degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• SAP certification (Finance or related modules)

• Experience in SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management)

• Experience in Oil, Gas, or Energy sectors

• Understanding of SAP integration points with non-SAP upstream/downstream systems
