Overview

The SAP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering large-scale technology projects, ensuring they meet cost, scope, schedule, and quality requirements. This role will support enterprise-level SAP and utility-related programs by managing governance, reporting, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communications in alignment with recognized project management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project governance structures, proposals, and charters.
  • Manage project execution including scope, schedule, cost, and resource planning.
  • Oversee integration management using tools such as Earned Value Management (CPI/SPI).
  • Prepare and monitor Project Execution Plans (PEP), risk logs, procurement documents, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate vendor and supplier relationships from selection through contract closeout.
  • Ensure scope compliance and manage change requests.
  • Support quality assurance activities, including testing oversight and defect resolution.
  • Manage resource planning, acquisition, and team development.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and communications to stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, budget accruals, and closure documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Required Experience
  • PMP or Prince2 certification (mandatory)
  • Proven experience managing projects within Electrical Utilities
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Prior SAP project delivery in enterprise environments
  • Vendor and supplier management experience
  • Exposure to large-scale utility modernization programs
